What exactly is Share Your Voice?⌄

It's AHAA's video story platform. You answer 4 on-screen questions from your phone, and your recording becomes part of a national library of real Americans speaking about what hemp means in their lives. No studio, no crew, no script.

What happens to my video after I submit it?⌄

Our media team reviews and professionally edits your recording. We trim pauses, add captions, apply AHAA branding, and cut versions sized for different uses. You'll always be presented accurately and respectfully. We edit for clarity and length, never to change your meaning.

What should I say? What if I mess up?⌄

The five questions guide you, if you mess up an answer you can start the question over. After you finish a recording, you will be able to review each before moving on to the next question.

Do I need to be an AHAA member to participate?⌄

No. Any adult affected by hemp policy can share their story: consumers, farmers, retailers, veterans, caregivers. If you're 18 or older and hemp matters in your life, we want your voice.

Where will my video be used?⌄

Three places. First, on this page and across usahaa.org, where member stories are featured. Second, in our advocacy work: member videos are delivered directly to U.S. Senators, Representatives, and their staff as evidence that real constituents are affected by hemp policy. Third, on AHAA's social media channels, where your story helps reach and motivate people to join the fight.

Who owns the video?⌄

You'll always own your story. By submitting, you grant AHAA a license to edit, publish, and distribute the recording across our website, social channels, advocacy materials, and communications with lawmakers and press. Participation is voluntary and unpaid; you're contributing your voice to a cause, not appearing in a commercial endorsement.

Why was AHAA founded?⌄

We were founded to give the industry a unified voice. Hemp and healthy alternatives are often targeted by misinformation and unfair laws, and AHAA exists to ensure the people who live and work in this industry every day are represented in Washington D.C. and across the states.

What is the American Healthy Alternatives Association (AHAA)?⌄

AHAA is a national coalition of business owners, scientists, store owners, and consumers working every day in the hemp and healthy alternatives industry. We unite the people who grow, manufacture, sell, and use these products to protect access and promote safe, responsible regulations.
